The Beattie Group began as a small accounting practice during the depression years of the 1930ís. That practice was the forerunner of Beattie & Associates, the Accounting and Taxation division of the Group. Over the last decade we have actively pursued our strategic vision of helping our clients to grow and becoming successful in whatever field of endeavour they are in. We believe our success is measured by our clients success. We achieve this by working closely with our clients to help them accomplish their personal and business goals and objectives. In recent years, as the marketplace has demanded greater sophistication in marketing skills to succeed, we identified the need to build a team of talented specialists if we were to help our clients maintain a competitive edge. To do this, we established a separate division known as Beattie Management Consultants comprising a highly experience and skilled business and marketing experts. By having specialists on our team, we are able to stay at the cutting edge of technology, IT, e-commerce and the latest and most effective marketing techniques. The Beattie Team - At Your Service Charles Vella Charles Vella is a qualified Accountant and has owned and run many successful businesses including Chartered Accounting practices, Management Consultants specializing in Business Development and Corporate Planning including involvement in listing six public companies, Managing Director of a Public Company with diverse interests in mining and industrial sectors comprising of six business operations with a team of 250 personnel. Charles Vella has developed a reputation among many businesses for his strong skills in strategic planning, business development, corporate knowledge, taxation planning and minimization, and financial management. Richard Danks Richard Danks is an Associate Fellow of the Marketing Institute of Australia and has over twenty years experience in marketing and business development. He has successfully completed projects for large corporate concerns such as BankWest and numerous small to medium sized businesses. These include industrial, commercial, retail organizations, plus professional firms such as accountants and solicitors. Richard's marketing expertise includes the following areas: Strategic Planning, Business Plans, Marketing Plans, E-commerce, Web Promotion, Growth Strategies, New Product Development, Direct Marketing, Mail Order, Sales Promotion, Advertising, Campaigns, Copy-writing, Seminars and In-House Training, Business Image and Presentation, Leaflets and Brochures. Chris Oversby Chris Oversby is the Taxation Manager at Beattie and Associates. Prior to joining Beattie & Associates in February 1998, Chris ran his own accounting and taxation business in Katanning for 14 years. His extensive accounting and taxation skills developed both in his own business and with Beattie & Associates have proved to be a valuable asset to the practice and to its many personal and business clients.
